Deutz Amour de Deutz Blanc de Blancs 1995

Winemaker's Notes:

A sharply defined, mineral-laden Champagne, this shows a hint of oxidation, with honey, citrus and coffee notes, all supported by a firm, gum-tingling structure. Its finish is the best part, however, with a long brioche aftertaste. Drink now through 2008.(WS)

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Richer and almost potent with a very lean acidic attack. Almost cheese like with its sharpness. Lots of strong cognac flavors on the finish.
