88-89 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): From tank, Descombes's 2010 Brouilly -- from a parcel of vines planted in 1993 -- allies fresh red raspberry and Maine blueberry for a sappy, bright, tart, energetic, and refreshing performance that emphasizes the white wine-like aspect of its vintage. At the same time, there is a palpable sense of extract, even of density, all of which suggest why their author prefers to give his wines longer elevage and points toward the potential for several years' bottle interest.
