Editorial Reviews for Deponte Cellars Pinot Noir Dundee Hills
Spicy on the nose with all many of crushed up herb and flower stems, a little peppery spice, and lovely intense red berry fruit. On the palate this is so juicy with bright acidity and a lightweight open, Burgundian feel. The red fruit is big but not heavy on the palate with very pretty ripeness. The finish is layered with herb and spice notes over raspberry fruit that turns slightly more jammy on the very long finish. This is tight today but it fairly dances across the palate. No doubt this will get better with a few years in the cellar but it is already exciting to drink. 91pt

Smoky cherry oak tingly tannins
A very fine Pinot Noir! Varietally accurate. Lovely balance. Clean, red fruit; good acidity. Long, harmonious finish. Very satisfying. A Winner. Drink now - 2014.

This light bodied wine shows nice aromas of fresh cherry with toasty notes of oak. It's soft and well integrated tannins invite it to be a wine for any occasion.
The 2006 vintage has wonderful red raspberry, cassis and toasty oak flavors with a hint of chocolate. It's a soft well balanced wine that concludes with ripe, fine grained tannins.
A Pinot Noir wine from Oregon in USA. 2005 De Ponte Cellars Pinot Noir 750ml
92 points Wine & Spirits: Generous and broad, with a brilliant red-fruit profile that seems almost Californian, this has scents of pomegranate, sassafras and cherry blossom. The flavors are terse, a middle-register cherry, a convincing display of high-toned persistence without weight. It has the laser-like focus for something gamey, like squab. 217 cases. (Apr 2013)
