deLorimier Winery:
Founded in 1986, the winery is set in the center of our northern Alexander Valley vineyards in the heart of Sonoma County, allowing us to carefully tend each small vineyard lot from bud break through harvest. The winery was constructed with the blending concept in mind, and is equipped for the production and aging of many small and select lots. Every care was taken to enable the winemaker to preserve the quality of the grapes and express his craft.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

This refined Merlot offers enticing aromas of dark fruit with hints of roasted coffee beans and toasty oak. The silky texture holds supple tannins, gentle oak and deep flavors of cherry and blackberry with a touch of mocha. Drinkable now but with excellent aging potential, this food-friendly wine offers countless pairing opportunities, or it can be savored while enjoying the company of friends or a good book.
