Editorial Reviews for Deloach Vineyards Pinot Noir Green Valley
Slightly smoky on the nose with a touch of hot cocoa and balsam accenting the earthy dark fruit tones. On entry this is soft and fairly rich in a fruit forward style that highlights the slightly candied cherry fruit of the mid-palate. The wine is medium to medium full bodied with nicely integrated acids and soft tannins that add a nice fleshy feel to the wine, though the finish is a little light with some powdered sugar and spice tones accenting a zesty, almost apple skin toned on the finish. The finish does add a bit of length, and this is soft and broad in a popular style. 89pts
Nice ripe fruit, black cherry, light earth flavors, and some subtle minerality. Good long finish.
Raspberry and sweet cherry upfront. Blackberry fruits on the finish which is quite tart. Gentle, soft tannins build but never overpower.
Fresh and fruity, bright and inviting nose. Great fresh acidity, cranberry and unripe cherries, cola and a bit of cream on the finish.
Dirty blueberry nose, with cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, and oak. More chocolate and strawberries on the mouth.
Huge funky animal nose. Super soft and delicate in the mouth. Very tart. Bright cherries, leather, and tar. Love it.
Very rich on the nose, full of cherries, caramel and berry aromas. The finish is extremely complex, with lots of spice, root beer and earthy flavors. This is a great California pinot.
Very nice fruit, with raspberry, cola and cherry on the nose. Nice acidity and fine tannins. Delicious.

This Pinot Noir from Durell Vineyard is distinctive in style and unique in taste. On the nose, savory aromas of smoked meats and fragrant herbs are touched with the scent of mouthwatering ripe berries. Flavors of liqueur-soaked dark cherries, with pancetta and rosemary support smooth tannins that precede a long, silky finish.
