The deep ruby color leads to rich aromas of black currant, chocolate-dipped cherries and brambleberry spice laced with a thread of orange zest. Juicy, yet structured, the palate unfolds with mouthwatering notes of blackberry, cranberry highlights, cocoa dust and hints of lavender. The broad, yet supple tannins lend exceptional length to this wine, which should age well for several years.
