Delille Chaleur Estate White Columbia Valley 2009

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Here's an incredible white blend from Washington State that's modeled after the great whites of the Pessac-Leognan of Bordeaux. Sauignon Blanc and Semillon aged in French oak. Wine Enthusiast Magazine Northwest Editor Paul Gregutt made this rare and limited white an Editors Choice scoring it 95 points and saying "Consistent year after year, this blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc and 33% Sémillon is modeled after top-flight white Bordeaux. Deep gold, toasty and scented with olive oil, walnuts and loam, it hits the palate full-on with a rainbow of flavors: citrus, stone and tropical fruits, all accented with toast, oil and nuts from barrel aging. Riveting, delicious and unique."
