Delicato White Zinfandel 2008
Delicato is a family-owned winery committed to its 80+ year California winemaking and wine-growing heritage. Three generations have overseen vineyard operations and winemaking at their California properties, maintaining the unparalleled standards for which they are known. Their philosophy reflects its unwavering dedication to environmentally sensitive and sustainable agricultural farming practices. Delicato has a portfolio of premium wines including Loredona, Delicato, Clay Station, Gnarly Head, 337, Irony, Woodhaven and King Fish, each from a selection of the most desirable vineyards from notable California wine-growing regions: Lodi, Monterey and Napa. This Zinfandel wine shows a lovely spicy charcater, soft blackberry and plum fruit on the palate, and a medium finish.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Our 2008 White Zinfandel offers soft floral aromas as well as strawberry and cherry. Refreshing, juicy, fruit flavors of watermelon and strawberry are balanced by crisp acidity and a clean finish. This wine pairs perfectly with lighter fare, such as steamed mussels, grilled fish tacos, and Chinese Chicken Salad.
