Pierre Morey:
The total area of the domaine is 11 hectares, distributed in different parcels located in the districts of Monthelie, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, and, of course Meursault. All the vineyards were cultivated following organic agricultural practices from 1992 to 1997, at the end of this period the domaine became 100% biodynamic.

The wine is a lovely deep ruby to purple color, and the nose is thick with ripe fruit, blackberry and plum, and a nice bit of spice that balances the fruit very well. There is also a good bit of earthiness too, somewhat reminiscent of the forest after a spring shower that reminds me of the flavors of black truffles. The wine is quite fruit forward, with a lovely balance of ripe black fruit, black pepper and a bit of tartness that doesn't come from the tannins, but I believe comes more from the fruit itself - very interesting. The wine is quite flavorful throughout, reaching a crescendo of cherry cola flavor midpalate, which gives way to tannins that are well structured providing for a very pleasing finish. This is a fresh, youthful wine that allows its fruit flavors of plums and black cherries to take center stage, as the juice never sees any wood aging.

This is a fresh, youthful wine that allows its fruit flavors of plums and black cherries to take center stage, as the juice never sees any wood. Coming from the base of Mount Ventoux, east of the Rhône River, it is 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Drink this with a slight chill to experience a perfectly approachable and delicious wine.
