Delamotte Brut Rose NV
Editorial Reviews for Delamotte Brut Rose
Walnuts, spice and custard on the nose with sweet red apple skin and brie cheesiness. Rich entry with notes of walnut, earthy, spices, great intensity of flavor with nice golden apple and toasty nuances. Very complex and fresh with excellent length. 91pts
strawberry and citrus combination with a little orange peel and hints of peach, the palate offers a nice fruit structure, creamy, complexity, and long finish
Tart bready nose. Small bubbles sweet and oily. Dry nose.
Really nice deep nose of cherry, strawberry, bramble and earth flavors. Very nice, rich mouthfeel with great balance. More earth flavors later on, with a touch of truffle. Good acids and well balanced. Finish is fruity and softer, due to a little residual sugar.

Fine depth and complexity here. Dense with dried fruit honey and slight roasted coffee notes this Champagne delivers intensity and class in a balanced stylish way.
Here is a Pinot-dominated blend (50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier) which offers elegant, textural and expansive flavors. Multidimensional and poised, it pushes the Pinot to the fore, which brings extra fruit intensity and hints of fresh red berries. The finish is crisp and lingering.
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar ReviewLight pink. Vibrant, clean, mineral-laced strawberry and redcurrant aromas, with a note of quinine and a gentle hint of white flowers. Pure and racy, with lively red berry flavors and a suggestion of salty minerals adding complexity and verve. Finishes with impressive precision and excellent length. Lovely.Wine Tasting NotesThe balance between the dominant Pinot Noir and the smaller percentage of Chardonnay in the Delamotte Rose gives this wine its beautiful pale rose color. The wine has tiny bubbles with strong red fruit aromas and flavors. It is vivacious, supple and round with a hint of acidity. The ideal serving temperature for the Delamotte Rose is between 46.450F. It makes a wonderful aperitif, as well as a good companion to poultry dishes or red fruit desserts.

Very fragrant, boasting rose, violet, red berry and peach aromas and flavors. Opulent, even creamy, with underlying acidity that freshens the finish and a subtle aftertaste of fruit and spice. Drink now through 2012. -BS Wine Spectator. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Delamotte Brut Rose 750ml
Yeasty wine, with strawberry acidity and an edge of bitterness. The wine is light, frothy in the mouth, the fruit tight with a red currant finish. Wine Enthusiast. A Champagne Blend wine from Champagne in France. N.V. Delamotte Brut Rose 750ml
