Very tannic. Too much to enjoy early on. but opened slight after about 3 hrs. Licorice, cherry, leather. Nice wine. Would buy more at $20 but hold for 2-3yrs.
A nice wine that reflects the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano well. Probably not worth the price, but still a good wine that is full flavored, hearty, and enjoyable.
