. . . . of flavors that is! This is why I so enjoy Sauv Blanc! The nose starts out with orange peel, pineapple, and a hint of lemonade, which makes my mouth water instantly. On your palate this wine does not disappoint following through with tart citrus fruits and lovely acidity. Pair with cheese, salads or not at all - whatever you choose this wine will make your day.
...with this Sauvignon Blanc! A fantastic wine for picnics, porch sipping, or late evening appetizers! The nose is ripe with tropical fruits, lemons, kiwi and peach! Granny Smith apples are a dominant flavor on this wine, with a touch of honey balancing out the tartness. Ruby Red Grapefruits kick in on the finish, making this wine a lovely, fruity delight from start to finish!
This savignon blanc is well balanced, crisp and delicious. The best thing about it is the clever cork system they used. It's called a zork and it needs no cork screw. We took it last summer to the beach, on the boat and every picnic we went on.
bright and crisp, yet fuller and more generous than you expect with an uncommonly long finish. Perfectly vine ripened grapes were hand sorted and whole-cluster cold pressed.
Wine Tasting NotesBright and Crisp, yet fuller and more generous than you expect with an uncommonly long finish.Perfectly vine ripened grapes were hand sorted and whole-cluster cold pressed. Multiple yeast fermentation started in a tank with the temperature slowly lowered to 45 degrees. The final stage of fermentation was in neutral oak barrels in our cool cave. Fermentation took five months, producing a generous amount of glycerin, contributing to the unique sensations it arouses in the mouth.2006 was an exceptional vintage, especially for early ripening varietals like Sauvignon Blanc. The spring was warm and the summer mild. Winter rains waited until the last grapes were harvested. This wine truly provides an unrivaled complexity and an exceptional depth.
