Hand harvested and sorted grapes from four of our
favorite vineyards contributed to DRX. Initial blending
was done as the wines developed in 2 and 3 year
air-dried Franch oak barrels from small artisan coopers.
After two years in the caves, the besting tasting
28 barrels (marked with an “X” by the winemakers
during their frequent tastings) were selected from hundreds
of barrels of the five Bodeaux varietals. After
