Deer Creek Vineyards Pinot Gris 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

In 2011 we choose to pick our Alsatian varieties fully ripened yet not as high in sugar. The fruit was whole cluster pressed, cold settled and then racked to stainless steel tanks for natural fermentation. Individual lots were then aged, sur lie (on the yeast sediment) in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Leading aromas and flavors of apple, pear and tropical fruit. Subtle mineral texture, flint, peach and pear. Balanced acidity, leaving the finish crisp and very refreshing. A great glass of wine as a summer sipper or as an accompaniment to a wide array of foods.
