Editorial Reviews for Decoy Pinot Noir Sonoma County
This shows off a little cherry Lifesaver on the nose over attractive blueberry, roasted herb and well judged cedar wood spice aromas. Round and lush in the mouth, this offers up bitter chocolate and licorice-nuanced bitter black cherry fruit on the palate. The texture is rather fine and supple, certainly very attractive, and the fruit is well presented if a little simple. This does drop a bit on the finish. 88pts

Duckhorn's Decoy line has been a hit with us - offering outstanding wines at a reasonable price. We really enjoy the line because the wines see less oak and maintain a youthful freshness that we love to find.
The aromas are ripe and appealing, offering layers of strawberry jam, raspberry and sweet vanilla, as well as hints of chocolate-covered cherries and white pepper. On the palate, the entry is full and balanced with lovely cranberry notes supported by the subtle influence of fine oak.
