Deaver Vineyards Orange Muscat Amador County NV
Editorial Reviews for Deaver Vineyards Orange Muscat Amador County
Gorgeously fragrant nose full of black tea, orange blossom, light passionfruit and pink grapefruit tones. Really intense and fresh and gently frizzante with a honied tone to the warm citrus fruit tones and an easy appeal. Some tea notes add a bit of depth but this is a rather sweet and slightly rich style of Moscato with long honied flavors yet not much detail. 85pts
Sweeter than sweet. Lots of orangee, grapefruits, and dried apricots with a little teabag.
Sweet sassy moh-lassy, what a shitshow of flowers and citrus in my mouth. Keep your insulin pens handy, and don't drink the whole bottle. Some very interesting flavors that would complement thai food very well, this wine approaches with blunt force so give it something spicy to contend with.
Sweet orange, honeysuckle and lavender nose. Fizzy on the tongue - good acidity and a spritz of CO2. Very sweet, with honey and floral notes. Could work with spicy asian foods, or on its own if you are partial to very sweet (yet not desert) wines.
