    Farbe: tiefes Violett-Rot; Bouquet: frisch und intensiv, schwarze Kirschen, Himbeeren, Brombeeren, Trüffel; Körper: wiederum stehen schwarze Kirschen im Vordergrund, feine Eichentöne in schöner Balance zur Fruchtnote, kräftige und reife Tannine, sehr langer Abgang.

    Winemaker's Notes:

    A selective manual harvest was carried out in late April. The bunches were cold-soaked in stainless steel tanks at 8-10°C for 4-7 days. At 26-28°C in stainless steel tanks, fermentation took place over a 9-day period. Maceration followed for 28 days with periodic pump-overs and aeration. Full malolactic fermentation occurred. The wine was aged in French oak barriques of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th use for 12 months. Prior to bottling, the wine was filtered and refrigerated, then cellared for an additional year.

    Tasting Notes:

    Aromas of berries and black currants abound on the nose, backed by notes of tobacco and spice. Subtle hints of vanilla and mocha are present as well. It is full-bodied and harmonious with a long finish. The tannins are firm meaning it has the potential to age well, yet elegant making it approachable upon release.
