Enticing aromas of ripe asian pear and warm apple pie are woven with layers of pineapple upside-down cake for a luscious entry to this nuanced wine. Nice Russian River chardonnay with medium oak, smooth mouthfeel, nice stone fruit, some golden apple and subdued acidity.

Visited De Loach in 2007 and 2008...no grand "Chateau", just a barn with GREAT wine! The Sonoma county countryside... I love the pastures and vineyards. The 2007 Russian River Chardonnay was sleel apples, slight oaky taste without being overbearing...crisp! LOVED IT! I'm a huge fan of all De Loach wines!

This Chardonnay meticulously integrates two distinct styles of crisp refinement and rich elegance. Enticing aromas of baked apple pie coupled with a layer of ripe citrus invite you to explore further. On the palate, bright acidity is touched with a delicate oak influence, with flavors of cinnamon and brown baking spices mingled with Asian pear and ripe tangerines. This medium-bodied Chardonnay spreads slowly across your palate towards a brilliant finish. Pairs well with braised chicken or grilled artichokes basted with lemongarlic butter. - Winery

Aromas of fresh-cut flowers, green apple and citrus are trim and crisp, giving this a clean, cleansing aftertaste. Drink now. 13,000 cases made. -JL Fruity and oaky, with easy flavors of grilled pineapples, buttered toast, vanilla and smoky oak. Shows real fanciness for the price. - S.H.

De Loach Vineyards is famous for it's lush, rich Chardonnays. This 2007 is crafted from a blend of grapes from premium vineyards in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Carefully tended vines yield fruit of exemplary quality; it is a pure expression of the valley’s terroir. The cool foggy mornings are tempered by warm afternoons to achieve fruit maturity without loss of depth or suppleness. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels to produce an intricately layered wine with delicate complexity and style. It shows layers of pineapple, nutmeg brown spice and traces of coconut complementing the fresh-cut flowers, green apple and citrus notes, finishing clean and refreshing.
