Add your reviewDark garnet in color with aromas of black cherry, earth, sage and fennel. Tight raspberry fruit flavors with nutmeg and a mineral note finishing with moderate tannins. Needs a bit more time in the cellar to come around or 2 hours in a decanter.
Came across this for the first time at Bistro by the Tracks in Knoxville, TN (great wine selection!). We were smitten! Bought 6 bottles from MadWine in WA. We shared it with guests this weekend and they too were smitten! I don't regard myself as an expert, but I think this wine just works.
