Food Pairings for Davis Bynum Chardonnay Russian River Valley
Editorial Reviews for Davis Bynum Chardonnay Russian River Valley
Intense, floral, fruity and sharp as a bell with precise cut citrus tones interwoven with nuanced oak notes. Opening with notes of pollen and honey on the attack this quickly fills the mouth with notes of ripe tropical fruits, a hint of banana, and background notes of honey and almonds that powers through on the long finish. The acidity here is quite lively and really keeps this rather large scaled wine balanced and refreshing. Real crisp wine even though it’s full throttle California Chardonnay 93pts
The steely nose still manages to carry some fruit. This is a big, oaky wine with crisp acidity which I don't normally attribute to California Chardonnay. All of the oak I would expect is there, however, and it's as big as it usually is, moving right through from start to the long finish.

External Reviews for Davis Bynum Chardonnay Russian River Valley
Spicy chardonnay, with apple and pear aromas. The palate is quite interesting, with round, cinnamon-infected apple crumble notes and a vanilla aftertaste. Rich and full-bodied in true Russin River Valley style.
