David Stone Vineyards Moscato

Member Review by hikingtheusa:

For being an inexpensive variety of wines, I was super surprised when I ran across this brand. I usually don't spend under $17 for a decent bottle of wine that is under a 2 year vintage. I didn't have my debit card on my person, only a few dollars cash; I am glad I picked this brand. When I pulled the cork, I was very pleased at the aroma. I acquired this bottle at my local Walgreen's, and for under $7 with tax. I must say, I can certainly smell the peach, apple, and plum infusions (what my pallet told me). After initial tasting, I was hooked on this brand. After you bubble the wine in your mouth, and swish a couple times before you swallow, you notice a certain fruitiness and full body of the wine. It reminded me of a cool summer day on the coast with a mild breeze blowing smells of ripened fruit on what must be nearby trees. I will MOST DEFINITELY purchase this wine again.

surprisingly refreshing. I selected this Moscato with not much expectation seeing how it was $4.99 at walgreens and I am not familiar with David Stone wine. After opening the bottle notice how enticing it smelled and I quickly poured a glass. I can taste the crisp flavors of fruit, apple, pears....delicious! A perfect dessert wine! I will purchase this gem again.
