David Duband Echezeaux 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

The early 1990s saw a revolution at Domaine David Duband. Until 1991, the family estate had largely sold its wine off in bulk to other producers, and not bottled any of its own products. From 1992 the wines of David Duband have been vinified, aged and bottled at the domaine itself. The estate's new found devotion to quality and the energy of its producer have catapulted Mon. Duband into the ranks of the best producers in the Hautes Cotes. But he also works parcels in Nuits Saint George and Vosne Romanée, a number of which grace our Slurp range. In 2002 David also began making and aging wine made from the grapes of other winegrowers, under an arrangement that allowed him to select from the best vineyard parcels, and to direct the viticulture of the grapes directly.
