Add your review(Review of Dec. 2006.) I'm ashamed to say this is the first bottle I've tried of David Coffaro Zinfandel. It is outstanding, reminding me of some of the best Ridge Lytton Springs Zins from the past - but at a cost at least $10 lower than those wines. Classic briary, fruit-laden Zinfandel nose, tremendous richess and balance in the flavors. Mouth-coating layers of deep plum and spicy berry fruit. Altogether excellent wine! I look forward to trying some more of this winery's production.
