Dashwood is a brand of wines produced by Vavasour in the Awatere Valley in New Zealand. Straw colored in the glass. Intensely strong nose and powerful flavors of apple, pineapple, melon, grass and minerals. Nicely balanced acidity and reasonably complex. Harmonious balance in all its elements. Lingers on the finish. Very highly recommended. - Schreiner's Winers "Springtime Sauvignon Blanc" Tasting 3/12/10
Powerful and pleasant pineapple and kiwi on the nose, with a flavor that follows suit. A very refreshing wine, which should not be drunk with a thirst because it would be easy to over-indulge. Quite unique, a fun wine.
Wonderful with Maine scallops citrus butter sauce!

This boasts typical Marlborough characters of passion fruit and herbal notes, layered with a hint of nectarine and extra pungency. It’s round in the mouth without being especially concentrated, finishing short but pleasant.
Crisp and juicy, with white grapefruit, lime, green apple and Asian pear notes that have a mouthwatering acidity. Drink now.
Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw in color. The nose has stone fruit, citrus and fresh tropical notes thatl eap from the glass. The palate is expressive with stone fruit, citrus and fresh tropical flavors that linger on through the crisp finish.
Pale bright yellow. Pungent aromas of tropical fruits, pepper and smoke. The palate offers decent concentration to the flavors of grapefruit pith and white pepper, with a repeating suggestion of tropical fruits. The moderately persistent finish shows more saline minerality than fruit.
Light-bodied, with vivid passion fruit, lime and fresh herb and cut grass notes. Refreshing acidity gives this plenty of momentum on the finish. Drink now.
This wine's zesty grapefruit and passion fruit flavors emphasize the fresh, citrusy side of sauvignon. A little light in the aroma and finish, this makes a good aperitif with any raw shellfish.
Lip-smacking, with a mouthwatering acidity that gives a wonderful freshness to the pineapple, melon, peach and ripe mango flavors. Persists on the long finish. Drink now.
