Dashe Cellars Grenache Dry Creek Valley 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Wet leaves, raspberries, and fennel seed on the nose lead to a soft and round California Grenache that features warm notes of clove and allspice and supple, velvety tannins. A small percentage of Mourvedre adds a dose of earthiness to this excellent Dry Creek Valley bottling.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
