Intensely sweet, but backed up with enough complexity and a certain amount of sharpness/acidity so that it does not all fall apart. Nose and taste both strongly dominated by candied apricots. Superb with roquefort cheese!

Finally found a dessert wine that my wife likes; stil very sweet, but not dominated by the raisiny, complex flavors that often seem to be present with dessert wines affected by the noble rot. Will defininitely be buying more, hopefully to see what additional complexity a little bottle aging brings.

Stunning. A dessert in itself. On the nose it's sweet stewed apple and rhubarb with big fat sultanas and then in the mouth it develops into sugary apricots and the finish is burnt toffee that lasts for a minute. And only £11 in Oddbins. So so happy!
