From the Stump Jumps through to the highly regarded Icons, these wines offer value, individuality and a true taste of McLaren Vale. The Icons The Ironstone Pressings, The Coppermine Road, The Dead Arm Shiraz The Icons are the most powerful and concentrated of d’Arenberg’s wines. Comprising of the Dead Arm, the Coppermine Road and the Ironstone Pressings, this range represents the pinnacle of d’Arenberg’s efforts. Ripe and open-textured, this is impressive for the way it packs in the cherry, blackberry and raspberry flavors and keeps its foot on the gas pedal through the mineral-inflected finish. Drink now through 2018.

The nose is chock-full of fresh blackberries, cherries and dark chocolate sprinkled with spices. The palate is fresh and juicy, ripe red fruits mix with plums, blackcurrant, flowers and a twist of black pepper. The tannins are fine with d'Arenberg's trademark earthiness helping keep this easy going wine in check. - Winery

Opaque purple. High-pitched aromas of boysenberry, blueberry and violet. A juicy, velvet-textured fruit bomb, with jammy dark berry flavors enlivened by a hint of white pepper. Not the last word in complexity but offers a load of expressive black and blue fruit, finishing with ripe, smooth tannins and good length.

The next time you’re invited to a party and don’t know what to bring pick up one of these. Rich and spicy but with so much lush black and red fruit it’s impossible not to like this wine! Try it with fried chicken veggie burgers or beef stir fry.

Dark ruby. Pungent cherry and blackberry aromas, with hints of licorice and vanilla. Ripe dark berry flavors are braced by racy acidity and show good depth and power. Shows a touch of warmth on the finish, which features a vaguely jammy quality and good persistence.
