The nose is chock-full of fresh blackberries, cherries and dark chocolate sprinkled with spices. The palate is fresh and juicy, ripe red fruits mix with plums, blackcurrant, flowers and a twist of black pepper. The tannins are fine with d'Arenberg's trademark earthiness helping keep this easy going wine in check. - Winery
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 The Stump Jump Shiraz is scented of ripe plums, blackberries and baking spices plus a touch of anise. Medium-bodied with lively acid, chewy tannins, and a medium-long finish, it can be drunk now to 2014.
Winemaker Chester Osbornrsquo;s philosophy is ldquo;to make wines that have great fragrance, fruit palate texture and length.rdquo; The hands-on winemaking shows through with the production of high-end collectible wines and quality, affordable wines as well. This Shiraz has balance, structure and rich, ripe fruit that jumps out of the glass! Blueberries, black raspberries, and dark cherries explode upon the palate. Nuances of anise and spice linger on with a powerful, yet soft finish. This versatile wine will complement any hearty beef dishes, cajun chicken or grilled salmon.
Bright and jazzy this is juicy with raspberry and cherry fruit riding on a lean frame. Drink now.

The next time you’re invited to a party and don’t know what to bring pick up one of these. Rich and spicy but with so much lush black and red fruit it’s impossible not to like this wine! Try it with fried chicken veggie burgers or beef stir fry.
