Very faint herbal and pear aroma. Hint of white stone fruit on the palate. Not much discernable flavor here, just a good acidity. Perfectly fine with cheese and other assertive flavors. Nothing to hold on to in terms of flavor in the finish or in the sipping. A neutral backdrop wine. Update: 24 hours after opening the bottle, the wine's aroma and palate was more accessible, and you could really smell the pear and taste the varietal characteristics of the Marsanne and Riesling instead of the just the acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc.
