Food Pairings for D'Arenberg Pinot Noir Adelaide Hills the Feral Fox
I'm new to wine and just attended 2 classes on WSET Level 2 two weeks ago; so please forgive me if I made any unfair or wrong judgement on the wine. I brought recently a pack of 6 Museum Vintage from d'Arenberg, this is one of them. Below are my tasting notes: Appearance: Clear, medium intensity, garnet On the Nose: Clean, light intensity, with hints of cedar, vanilla, prune, hints of animal (!), toffee On Palate: Dry, low acidity, medium tannin, light to medium bodied, oakky and dried fruit, medium length. Overall a quite satisfying Pinot Noir with strong local charateristics.
