Nose: earthy, leathery, morello cherries, plum, spice, dried fruit (including dried apricots), hints of soy sauce and maybe some barnyard aromas, spicy oak. Palate: earthy, leathery, plum, morello cherry, spice, dried fruit, dried apricot, soy sauce. Firm, dry tannins, acid still fresh. Rich, earthy and complex. Has developed very nicely with bottle age.
