Danzante Pinot Grigio Venezie IGT 2009
"Bright and attractive, with enticing fruit perfumes of flowers and fresh fruit, Danzante Pinot Grigio is produced from vineyards in the steep, stony terrains of the"Tre Venezie" region of NE Italy. The wine’s silky texture culminates in a clean, dry and impeccably elegant finish." - Winery
An okay bottle of wine, not much flavor or fruit taste.
Danzante Pinot Grigio 2006, Italy ($10) This wine is a light straw yellow with lovely notes of apple and pear, and a crisp floral bouquet. It’s fresh and lively, but nonetheless has a full-bodied quality rare for the price point.

With its crisp pear, apple and citrus flavors, this lightweight wine would work well as an aperitif. Some orange-blossom notes on the nose and a slight bitterness on the finish give it additional dimension. A small amount of Riesling boosts the aromatics further.
Frescobaldi and Mondavi lend their experience and tradition to these wines. Light and crisp, but not watery. Green apple, almond and fig tie in with delicate pineapple notes. Finishes sharp and clean.
Blassgelbe Farbe. Zitronenminze und Limetten im Bouquet, auch etwas Netzmelone. Verspielt leichtes Gaumenbild nach zitrischen Noten, Ananas und weissem Pfeffer, von eher leichtem Körper, sehr bekömmlich.
Firm acidity and bright citrus fruit keeps this wine lively on the palate while peach and citrus flavors and a creamy texture complete the taste sensation.
Crisp, clean, light and dry are a few characteristics that describe this wine. It is also filled with flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, light spice and zesty citrus. Perfect for white sauces atop seafood and chicken.
Do you dance? You will with this refreshing, silky-light Pinot Grigio. If Chardonnay has become a ball and chain around your dancinrsquo; shoes, sip on this Danzante glass slipper. Soft lime and juicy Gala apples infuse this delicate white. (I recommend that you frost the toes first).
Frescobaldirsquo;s Pinot Grigio proves to be a well-constructed and composed wine with green fruit like kiwi and honeydew backed by a pine resin, cut-grass quality. Silky smooth in the mouth.
