Damilano Barolo 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

From the Le Cinque Vigne ("five vineyards") rwhich epresents select fruit from the Parcelle Castellero, Monvigliero, Fossati, Bussia and Parussi crus. The combination has produced a lovely wine with full intensity and long-lasting flavors of wild berry, smoke, mineral and cola. It tastes rich and opulent and ends with a fresh dose of acidity that could pair with braised wild duck or pheasant.

90 Points - Wine Spectator: Berry, rose and cinnamon aromas lead to a full body, with a solid core of fruit and silky tannins. Long and refined. Always very good value for Barolo. Best from 2011 through 2015. 8,330 cases made. -JS
