Pleasant garnet/brick color. Powerful aromas with lots of earthiness combined with dark fruits. Tannins are much softer at this age, providing a nice mouthfeel. Flavors match the aromas, with a nice long finish.

Full red. Aromas of redcurrant, smoke, mocha, marzipan and underbrush. Silky, lush and seamless, with fat flavors of red fruits, mocha, menthol and mint. This shows a slight dried fruit character but the texture is seamless for this hot year. Finishes rather suave, with big, horizontal tannins that coat the front teeth.
