Pleasant garnet/brick color. Powerful aromas with lots of earthiness combined with dark fruits. Tannins are much softer at this age, providing a nice mouthfeel. Flavors match the aromas, with a nice long finish.

Extremely perfumed with blackberry, cedar and ripe strawberries on the nose. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, long finish. A beautifully balanced and crafted red. Best after 2010.
Has wonderful aromas of plum, strawberry and dried porcini. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a subtle, fruity finish. Best after 2010.
Full red. Aromas of redcurrant, smoke, mocha, marzipan and underbrush. Silky, lush and seamless, with fat flavors of red fruits, mocha, menthol and mint. This shows a slight dried fruit character but the texture is seamless for this hot year. Finishes rather suave, with big, horizontal tannins that coat the front teeth.
Very aromatic with roses, pressed flowers and fresh berries. Hints of mushrooms. Full-bodied, with ripe fruit and round tannins. Delicious succulent finish. Soft and traditional style. Pretty. Best after 2007.
A pretty floral nose of fresh picked berries and rose water leads into a rich, deep, balanced red. A slight hint of mushroom and cedar complement the soft, succulent tannins and big, lush black fruit. This wine makes a fabulous gift and is sure to impress all that encounter it. Drink over the next few decades.
Attractive strawberry and floral aromas follow through to a full body, with firm, silky tannins. Long and solid. This is holding back a lot. Polished and well done. Best after 2010.
Initial scents of cocoa and dark cherries give way to a higher-toned fruit character. The oak flavors recede with air, giving direct access to the wine's ripe fruit and rich texture. The finish is marked by dried roses, cherries and sticky tannin. Cellar for five years and then enjoy with a savory agnolotti dal plin.
