- WA 92-94 (6/1997): The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an opaque blue/black/purple color, followed by sweet cassis aromas intermingled with scents of earth, spice, smoke, and grilled meats. This dense, powerful, muscular, concentrated wine provides an enormous mouthfeel. Wineries need more than luck to produce multi-dimensional wines with this concentration, ripeness, sweetness of fruit, and overall intensity and complexity.

- Saturated dark ruby. Multidimensional, expressive aromas of cassis, plum, violet, licorice, mint, leather and flowers. Juicy, penetrating fruit given thrust and focus by superb acidity. Really uncanny three-dimensional texture and great flavor intensity. Richness currently kept under wraps by powerful structure. Finishes with firm-edged Medoc-like tannins. Perhaps the classiest bottling to date of this wine.
