Opaque violet color. Wild highly perfumed aromas of dried cherry and dark berries incense and woodsmoke with hints of anise and espresso in the background. A hefty palate-staining shiraz that offers powerful dark fruit flavors that gain sweetness with aeration. Dusty tannins add shape and grip to the long smoky finish. I d hold onto this one for at least a few more years. Stephen Tanzers IWC.

Restrained and savoury bouquet, showing inky black fruits, violets and attractive mocha notes; the palate is fresh and generous, relying on a savoury, briary note for complexity; long, expansive and harmonious to conclude.
