Lots of heat on the nose here. Palate is juicy and fresh, with black olive, leather, drying tannins, loads of acidity, dark ripe blackberry fruit, and a hint of medicine on the finish.
Mild young wood notes in the aroma, the attack is balanced with good leading tannins, very smooth midpalate with nutty flavors, and a hot chalky finish.
Very light bouquet on the nose. Light body texture with toffee flavors that open up nicely in your tongue.
Nice but the taste dies quickly.
Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown on the lower Eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains. For more than 100 years, the Catena family has been making rich and full-bodied wines that express the full potential of their vineyards.

An expressive wine with aromas of black fruit and flavors of berries, herbs, spices, and earthy undertones that are surprising for Cab Sauv. Chewy tannins and acidity combine to make for a lingering, fresh finish. Best served with characteristic red wine dishes, such as pizza, pasta, and red meat.
