Cusumano Nero'Davola 2007
Wine Tasting Notes This blend of 70% Insolia and 30% Chardonnay is an eye-catching deep yellow-gold color. An impressive array of aromas include peach, nectarine and baked apple. In the mouth, it is ripe and remarkably crisp. This full-bodied, complex wine would complement game bird, smoked turkey breast or even a fresh pea risotto. Angimbe is the name of a forest adjacent to the vineyard where these grapes are grown.
Years of intense exchange between us and Sicily. Only one rule: natural simplicity in doing things.
Golden color and full bodied. Creamy and spicy, a very refreshing wine that was paired excellently with yellowtail/sauce aromatic and walleye-pike/curried coconut and charred brussel sprouts.
Fairly acidic, subdued friut and high tannins. Would pair well with starches but is not a stand alone wine.
