And because they are so perfectly suited to the Santa Ynez Valley, the sun-drenched, fog-kissed place that we call home. Here, we put down roots as one of California’s first wineries dedicated exclusively to Rhône-style wines. Since then, nothing has changed. We still live for Rhônes. Our specialties are Syrah, Grenache, Viognier and Roussanne, which we complement with a trio of lively blends. Under the guidance of Winemaker Chuck “Calypso” Carlson, we craft our wines in a fruit-forward style, with an emphasis on capturing the pure natural flavors of the vineyard and the vintage.
