Very fresh fruited on the nose with dusty, chalky tones and a fair amount of oak. In the mouth this has solid acidity and just a hint of sugar supporting the orange creamsicle and lightly peachy fruit. There is nice richness and good length with a creamy finish. Very typical and solid California Chardonnay. 86pts
Kind of thin and weak; might just be too young still. Currant/berry scent at first, then turns resinous. Tastes very oaky and vegetal with a hint of dark berry. Tannins are strong, but not too overpowering. Seems like it would pair well with earthy, rich food without competing too much. (I'm still pretty new at picking out individual tastes in wines, so if any of this seems way off base, I apologize!)
For under 10 bucks this is a good value. floral bouquet, followed by berries, moderate tannins finishes with tobacco/Silky feel. More acidity than I usually get in a Cab I'm a novice so please take this with a hefty pinch of salt
Pretty buttery, but it's that processed oaky buttery flavor that makes me think there was a bag of oak chips or an oak syrup added. It's pleasant enough wine, and if you like that flavor it's great, just not my cup of tea.
I wouldn't drink this with someone else's mouth.
Medium acidity, complex nose - minerality throughout. Green apples and nice oak - malolactic butteriness.
A solid example of a California Chardonnay - the nose of full of oak, vanilla and spice with some green apples behind. In the mouth the richness of the oak dominates and the wine is spicy and has notes of vanilla. There are fruit flavors of green apples up front, red apples later. Cinammon and baked pie crust on the finish.
