Very fresh fruited on the nose with dusty, chalky tones and a fair amount of oak. In the mouth this has solid acidity and just a hint of sugar supporting the orange creamsicle and lightly peachy fruit. There is nice richness and good length with a creamy finish. Very typical and solid California Chardonnay. 86pts

Fresh apples, lime, yeast, tea and dried leaves on a nose that smells a bit sweet. Very high acid help to cut through the noticeable sweetness on the palate. This is fruit driven and full of lemony and apply fruit, tastes much like fizzy Chardonnay. A bit coarse and rough and tumble but full of fruit and zippy acids. 86pts

This is a well extracted, rich style of Chardonnay. It has a good amount of fruit and is of excellent value. It is probably stainless steel fermented. There is some bottle variance here, as I just had one that I would rate an 83. It was much less fruit forward than the first bottle. My rating--- 83--87

Love this wine. It goes with everything. And for the price, you can't beat it. Not too sweet, perfect blend.

Ordered a bottle of this on my boyfriends birthday in place of desert because of the name. We were pleasenty surprised and it is now our new favorite chardonnay.

Adam Richardson does it again, complex, slightly sweet in a subtle way, hints of all different kinds of fruit... peach, pineapple, melon, a hint of sauv. blanc in there but mostly chardonnay I'm told, finish tastes like a peach cobbler with whipped cream. There is next to no acidity on the finish which makes this different from most whites I can think of. Very good 88 pts.

Dark fruit flavors along with hints of oak and cocoa.

Classic Chardonnay tastes..if less pronounced than the more expensive Chardonnay's. I'm not a fan of an over the top Oak/Smoke/Toast finish of some Chardonnay's...so I enjoyed the underplayed flavor from that perspective. Still I'd like something to come up an fill the void more on the nose and palate. Overall...I like it, and wouldn't mind this being the house Chardonnay (versus the Franzia box I bought just to have around...probable the last time). Second tasting from the same bottle...2 days elapsed...I like it!! for those whoe aren't enamored with the full-on Chardonnay back-end...this is a stellar compromise (and perhaps an introductory Chardonnay). My wife wasn't a fan...though truth be told...Riunite (-"on ice...that's nice") and Bartles and James (google it for you young-ins), was more her taste in the day). Definately more bottles coming my way, especially at the at price (yes...I'm ...frugal).

We work hard to bring you the biggest, richest Chardonnay from California's desirable Central Coast, where the sun drenched grapes create full and elegantly-textured wines. Decadent levels of butter, cream, bright citrus and vanilla melt into a balance of oak and subtle spice. In other words: Delicious. Serve chilled with crab cakes, seared Ahi tuna on waffle crackers or fresh-baked French bread and cheese. - Winery

It starts off with a touch of apple, a hint of tropical fruits and is complimented by a balance of vanilla and spice. We used malolactic fermentation with aging in small barrels to provide a rich mid palate that develops into a long and smooth finish.

Cupcake Chardonnay was crafted to emphasize the Central Coast's creamy and structured Chardonnay character. It starts off with a touch of apple, a hint of tropical fruits and is complimented by a balance of vanilla and spice. We used malolactic fermentation with aging in small barrels to provide a rich mid palate that develops into a long, smooth, satisfying finish.

Appropriately named, Cupcake Chardonnay is what one would think of when eating the delectable dessert... butter, vanilla, rich, creamy with a touch of sweetness. This wine comes from sunny California's Central Coast, undergoing malolactic fermentation to round it out and create a smooth mouthfeel. It is aged in American oak for nine months to grant it a little more structure. It goes beautifully with calamari, crab cakes or fried shrimp. Served in most of the local Allentown restaurants by the glass - save your money and get it here!
