Editorial Reviews for Cupcake P Sirah 750m
Perfumy floral nose over blueberry fruit with some gingery wood spice tones. Lightish body for a Petite, but balanced with crisp tannins and nice acid balance. It's a bit thin across the mid-palate but offers up some nice zesty cranberry fruit with a short finish. 84pts
Dry. My untrained nose picks up very little.
Thick, sweet, and medicinal. I like it.
Smells of cherries and raspberries and mildly sweet. very generic
Heavy aroma of oak with hints of blueberry. Full bodied, very strong tannins, and heavy oak flavor. Also had notes of black pepper and coffee. A little harsh, but has the potential to age well.
I love my red wine, but don't typically like deep full bodied reds. I received this Cupcake Petite Sirah as a gift, and it is amazing! This wine is a delicious blend of mixed berries with hints of espresso and chocolate. It goes perfectly with a meat dish or pasta dish, but also does just fine by itself! It's smooth, it's full of flavor, and I would say it's more on the lighter side rather than a deep full bodied. I'd recommend this wine to anyone who loves a good smooth red wine, but also likes a bit of sweetness :)

We harvested these tiny berries in the early morning and trucked them over to the crush pad. The Central Coast is well known for warm days and cool nights, which allow the fruit to fully develop. This wine starts with aromas of pomegranate, boysenberry and blueberries that evolve into flavors of spice accentuated by rich dark chocolate. With a creamy, rich body, this wine finishes in a long and soft manner. Serve it with a juicy pork tenderloin with a Petite Sirah reduction. - Winery
