Cupcake Central Coast Cabernet 2010
Cupcake Central Coast Cabernet Cupcake vineyard works hard to craft the richest, smoothest and elegantly-textured wines. This full-bodied yet smooth cabernet sauvignon displays soft tannins, with primary fruit flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and plums. These layers of dark fruits melt with the tastes of mocha and toasty oak and end with a long and silky finish. 081308591872
Ordered a bottle of this on my boyfriends birthday in place of desert because of the name. We were pleasenty surprised and it is now our new favorite chardonnay.
This is my first time trying a Sauvignon Blanc....and I like this one....I love the citrusy, lemony taste....it is refreshing and crisp
Lightly colored with a floral nose. Medium bodied but plump with a tropical fruit overtone and hints of fig and nectarine. Sweet and full of fruit but the finish is somewhat lacking...
Fresh and crisp. 89 pts.
(Review of Cupcake Angel Food) Adam Richardson does it again, complex, slightly sweet in a subtle way, hints of all different kinds of fruit... peach, pineapple, melon, a hint of sauv. blanc in there but mostly chardonnay I'm told, finish tastes like a peach cobbler with whipped cream. There is next to no acidity on the finish which makes this different from most whites I can think of. Very good 88 pts.
Poor effort from Cupcake, wine tastes "off" like it went bad
This looks like a popular wine, judging by the number of reviews. A relative of mine had a case of it. Nice, fresh mix of lemon zesty tartness and sweetness. Good.

Appropriately named, Cupcake Chardonnay is what one would think of when eating the delectable dessert... butter, vanilla, rich, creamy with a touch of sweetness. This wine comes from sunny California's Central Coast, undergoing malolactic fermentation to round it out and create a smooth mouthfeel. It is aged in American oak for nine months to grant it a little more structure. It goes beautifully with calamari, crab cakes or fried shrimp. Served in most of the local Allentown restaurants by the glass - save your money and get it here!
Cupcake Chardonnay was crafted to emphasize the Central Coast's creamy and structured Chardonnay character. It starts off with a touch of apple, a hint of tropical fruits and is complimented by a balance of vanilla and spice. We used malolactic fermentation with aging in small barrels to provide a rich mid palate that develops into a long, smooth, satisfying finish.
Citrus blossom and grapefruit pith offers fresh, snappy acidity and tangerine-laced flavors that end with a clean, refreshing finish. Drink now.

Then the grape skins were pressed before the fermentation reached dryness to maintain the wine's lush tannin structure. The must was kept cool during fermentation to help create a slower fermentation and allowed the wine to retain more aromatic properties as well as ...

Our vineyard works hard to bring you the zestiest, most refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from the cool Marlborough Valley. Here the grapes mature slowly, giving them complexity and a vibrant zing, reminiscent of a lemon chiffon cupcake. The aromas are integrated, delighting the senses with flavors of Meyer lemons, Key limes and a finish that awakens the appetite. Serve chilled with oysters on the half shell or with a rich, creamy lobster risotto. - Winery
