($65) Inky ruby. Dark, brooding cherry and cassis aromas, complicated by notes of dark chocolate, tar and licorice. Lush and full on the palate, showing intensely sweet dark berry flavors and firm tannins. Softens with air, finishing with a sweet cherry preserve flavor and impressive clarity and depth.
