Cruz Alta is a brand of wines produced in the Mendoza province of Argentina. These are value-priced wines made from traditional regional grapes such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay available in standard releases and reservas.
Oaky scent. Dry/dusty, intense with a tangy licorice finish.
Bitter, slight sour ending. Smooth though. Not our favorite. After reading some of the ratings though I wonder if we got a bad bottle? I don't care for licorice though - maybe that is what I dislike about this bottle?
