Vineyard Notes: Monte Lago Vineyards are located in the Northern hills overlooking Clearlake, in Lake County, CA. Hot days, cool nights and perfect soil produce a low yield and intensely varietal fruit. Winemaking Notes: The grapes were hand-picked crushed and fermented in small lots to preserve the fruit's varietal character and avoid extraction of harsh tannins.
