Pours a medium reddish purple color, clear and bright. Aromas of dark fruit, black berries and pencil shavings. Starts off with a nice blackberry jam flavor with some pencil shavings. In the middle, there are ample plums, blackberries, pencil shavings and some smooth chocolate. Finishes just like the middle, only it intensifies. This is a medium to full bodied red that is really smooth. Had with the "Big Game" plate of Elk, Bison and Venison. However, this is easy to drink on its own. A nice Cabernet for those who do not enjoy the tannins of young reds.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of blackberries, fresh figs, clove and graphite lead to a palate of bakers' chocolate, sandalwood and black plum. Polished tannins and a round mouthfeel frame this crimson-colored wine. This is an elegant and food friendly wine to be shared with friends and family.
