The faint bouquet of nectarine doesn’t give much away, but the bright red color does – a luscious wine with attractive sweetness if not much structure follows, with lively strawberry notes towards the end, and there’s that nectarine tang again. (AV 87, http://argovino.com/?p=673)

Though a lovely deep red-pink, this Rose didn't wow me. I like the price point (~$10), but it coming from the Malbec grape, I expected a little more "meat" from this Rose. Not much fruit on the palate - a little more richness and spice. You could do worse than this wine, but I probably won't be coming back to this.

Very nice, depp pink color. Solid taste of fresh ripe strawberries. Aroma filled with strawberries and cherries.

A beautiful, deep, vibrant rose color. Has a surprising amount of body for a rose wine, and beautiful aromas of fresh, ripe strawberries. Very soft, yet full on the palate with flavors of wild strawberries and young cherries that come rushing in, accompanied by some spice notes and a clean, dry finish.

'The 2011 Rose of Malbec (100%) was fermented and aged in stainless steel. Aromas of strawberry, cherry blossom, and cranberry lead to a crisp, dry, savory wine that should prove versatile at the dining table over the next 12-18 months.' Wine Advocate

This rosé is deep cherry in color and made from the Malbec grape variety, which has been absolutely thriving in Argentina's Mendoza region lately. This is very easy to drink: ripe, soft, and full of dark berry fruit on the palate - black cherries and red currants. Susana Balbo and her husband have been making wine in Argentina for over 25 years, producing many excellent wines that are well worth a try.

Dieser Wein zeigt eine tiefe dunkle purpurrote Farbe, gedörrte schwarze Beeren, Cassis-Aromen in der Nase. Dezent geröstete Vanille und Schokoladen Note. Gut strukturierte & süsse Tannine, mittellanger, weicher & eleganter Abgang.

Winemaker's Notes:

A beautiful, deep, vibrant rosé color. Has a surprising amount of body for a rosé wine, and beautiful aromas of fresh, ripe wild strawberries. On the palate, the flavors of strawberries and young cherries come rushing in, accompanied by some spice notes and a clean, dry finish. This is the perfect chicken wine and a charming companion to mildly spicy Asian cuisine. Keep one in the fridge at all times and you'll always have a delicious wine to enjoy with light snacks and cheeses. Best consumed in its youth.
