Crane Lake is a value-driven brand produced by Franzia and Bronco Wine Company. The majority of these wines are produced in California, with some branching out into Australia (for Down Under Chardonnay and others). These are available in supermarkets and most retailers.
Light and sweet. Best part is the price. Enjoyable without breaking the bank
It's exactly what it says: sweet and red. Very light bodied No discernible aroma (or far too subtle for me). A lightly cloying, very fruity taste. No discernible aftertaste. Reminded me a lot of alcoholic grape juice. Worth the $5 I paid for it at Kroger, and probably good for imbibing in large quantities with people who aren't looking for an amazing wine, but that's all I can say about it.
