Laying down a $4 bottle of wine for 7 years in this case didn't help. Imagine that? However, it did taste like what it was, an inexpensive red. Petite Syrah, it's name is a misnomer.

Crane Lake is a value-driven brand produced by Franzia and Bronco Wine Company. The majority of these wines are produced in California, with some branching out into Australia (for Down Under Chardonnay and others). These are available in supermarkets and most retailers.
