Crane Lake Malbec California 2006

Member Review by dkmrd5:

Woody, cherry aroma, bright fruit with a lingering oaky, yet a slight taste of prune on the aftertaste. I will buy this again at $4.50 a bottle!

Crane Lake Cellars:
Crane Lake is a value-driven brand produced by Franzia and Bronco Wine Company. The majority of these wines are produced in California, with some branching out into Australia (for Down Under Chardonnay and others). These are available in supermarkets and most retailers.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
